Graham Shapiro is a self-made businessman, designer, inventor and digital entrepreneur whose career trajectory has been said to be truly inspirational, particularly to young entrepreneurs.
As an Ambassador of Innovation for The University of Cambridge and Entrepreneur in Residence at The University of Chester, Graham has acted as a mentor in Schools, Colleges and Universities. He has advised The Institute of Directors, Chartered Institute of Marketing and others. It has been shown that Graham telling his own story can inspire young people, especially dynamic young designers and business leaders.
Graham said:
“My work as an Ambassador of Innovation and Entrepreneur in Residence enables me to give something back to the industry and I must say, it is rewarding to engage with young entrepreneurs, those who are maybe destined to become the design talent of the future. I enjoy highlighting new initiatives and ideas, encouraging, educating and empowering innovative entrepreneurs to achieve their potential.” He added: “The Foundation’s aim is to help them to believe in their dreams and help support them to become who they want to be.”
The Graham Shapiro Foundation collaborates, runs or sponsors Innovation Entrepreneurial Programmes and competitions within Universities and Colleges. The aim is to support innovative entrepreneurs who have identified a commercial opportunity based on their research and have the drive and vision to transform innovation into enterprise.
Graham Shapiro also ‘tells his story’ with a view to inspiring young designers and business leaders. At the same time highlighting new initiatives and ideas, encouraging, educating and empowering innovative entrepreneurs to achieve their potential.
